Over on my Instagram my daily pics thing is still going, and in the middle of the month I had posted photos of buses. So I thought I would group those pics and post them here also for prosperity.

My notes on these are photos are as follows:

1. This was from July 2023 when the new owners of what was then Citybus and New World First Bus had decided, upon acquiring both operators, to merge the two operators and retain the Citybus name. As part of that a new branding is being introduced hence the mixed branding on the single decker Young Man bus in the shot.
2. Last year Liverpool hosted the Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine. A number of buses had this promotional livery applied to promote the competition. Sweden had won the competition that year.
3. Back in the summer I visited Japan and amongst other things I attempted to take photos of the Kawasaki industrial area at night. Trouble was I set off way too late and had after walking for an hour I decided to return because it would be way too late to get there and return. Instead I took this photo of this bus all parked up overnight at Keikyu bus's Haneda depot.
4. A Paddington-themed Routemaster just outside St Paul's Cathedral.
5. This is from last year's Orpington bus garage open day, when just before the end of the event the driver of this Dennis Dart bus took us all out to this spot for a 5-minute-ish photo-shoot, and then took us back to the garage - but not before stopping very briefly on a narrow country lane for this moody shot of the bus on the way back.
