I headed out today with my transport enthusiast friends to the Route 406 Heritage Day by the London Bus Museum. (The museum itself and the Concorde at the nearby Brooklands Museum have been on my wishlist for a long time) It ran between Kingston and Redhill, where most of the shots on this post are taken at.

Although the plan for today had been completely thrown off by a hunt for a missing wallet (the wallet was successfully reunited with its owner) this was still a pretty good day out. It is nice to still see a lot of these heritage buses still in good working condition; it must have taken a lot of effort and labour of love to maintain these vehicles.

Having said that though I am still not getting used to seeing Dennis Darts joining the ranks of ‘heritage buses’ - this makes me feel old!
