Whilst two weeks ago I went to Euston to catch the new Class 730s that are entering service, this time I was at Euston with a few friends to catch the Class 319 on one of its last days at Euston, just as the Class 730 trains are taking over their roles. To be fair this was my first (and probably last) time on one of these trains, and there’s a certain mood about this that the new trains don’t seem to have nowadays.

As we were getting ready to leave we caught the attention of the driver who kindly let us peek into the cab (we weren’t allow in) from the cab door and took a few cheeky shots of the cab desk.
